With Unchi Agnes Baker Pilgrim at the 9th International Indigenous Leadership Gathering

· Reflection

With Unchi Agnes Baker Pilgrim and her beloved daughter at the 9th International Indigenous Leadership Gathering (IILG) in Lillooet, BC. Unchi Agnes is the oldest member of the Thirteen Grandmothers at 94 and is going strong! She is from the Siletz Confederated Tribes in Oregon! Unchi Agnes daughter reminds me of my Sister Ilene DePoe from Siletz!

Phil Lane Jr., in a patterned blanket coat and beaded medallion, sits smiling between Unchi Agnes Baker Pilgrim, in red regalia and cap, and her daughter under a tent.
