We Are One Human Family: Race Is Not a Biological Reality

Science confirms what our ancestors have always known in spirit: we are One Human Family. Genetically, over 99.9% of human DNA is identical across all members of our Human Family, regardless of their "race" or background. The tiny fraction that varies determines superficial traits—skin tone, eye color, hair type, height—but these differences are as minor as the variations in the leaves of the same tree. They do not define who we are at our essence.

What truly defines us is what lies within—our shared capacity for love, wisdom, justice, resilience, and unity. The idea of race as a biological distinction is a falsehood created to divide. There is no scientific basis for separate "races" of human beings!

We all descend from common ancestors, and our genetic code proves it. The concept of race is a social construct, not a biological reality. It has been used to justify divisions, hierarchies, and oppression, but we are one people, one Human Family walking together upon Mother Earth.

When we strip away these surface-level differences, what remains? The heart, the spirit, the soul, the mind—these are what make a person. The Great Spirit did not create separate destinies for different skin shades. We were meant to walk together in unity, honoring our diversity as part of a greater whole. To cling to racial divisions is to be blind to the deeper reality of our oneness. It is time for humanity to awaken, to set aside the illusions that have kept us apart, and to embrace the undeniable truth that we are brothers and sisters, bound by the same breath of life.

So why continue to define ourselves by something as insignificant as skin color? The trees do not divide themselves by the shade of their leaves. The rivers do not refuse to merge because their waters reflect different hues. Why should we, as human beings, create barriers where none exist? It is time to rise beyond these false distinctions, to heal the wounds of the past, and to walk forward as one—united not by race but by the deep, sacred truth that we are One Human Family, intimately related to all creation, guided by the same Sacred Source.
