Walla Walla Blue Devils High School offensive first team, 1961. I played left guard and fullback on offense and inside linebacker on defense. Football was my favorite sport. The rougher, the better!
I was honored by my teammates and voted, "Most Inspirational Player." I wasn't very big, about 165 lbs., but they called me, "the beserk bowling ball." And it was true, once the game or practice started, I would hit anything that moved on my opponent's side." I played on the Varsity as a sophomore, as well as, on the Sophmore Team.
