Part I~ I wrote the story Walking With Grandfather based on the time I spent with Frank White Buffalo when he came to visit my father in September-October 1969.

Part 2 ~I wrote the Great Wolf and Little Mouse Sister based on a Story given to me by my Hunka Ate Lionel Comes Home Swimming (Kinunwa), my father, Koda, who my father chose to teach me about the Sacred Pipe and the Seven Sacred Ceremonies of the White Buffalo Calf Woman.

Brother Phil Lucas and I partnered up, in 1985, along with the great music of Mark Hoover, to make this semi-animated film. All the other voices were from the Blood Reserve, except for Owl, a Drama Professor at the U of L and the narrator of the Great Wolf and Little Mouse Sister, beloved brother, Chief Leonard George.

We were honored to win the American Indian Film Festival in 1986.
