What global extraction companies are doing to Mother Earth is more than criminal. They are immoral. Canadian extraction companies are among the very worst in the world.
No extraction should be allowed globally without an extensive Environmental Impact Assessment and a full, binding legal agreement to clean up any damage done. At the sametime, the Sacred Rights of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent of Indigenous peoples must be upheld at all times!
One of the critical initiatives initiated by the representatives of our 80 million Indigenous peoples across the Americas and our Global Allies at the Gathering of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle, March 17-23, 2024, is succinctly expressed in our Sacred Covenant: Unite Humanity. Restore Mother Earth.
We will do our very best in unity and the 4th Way to ensure these criminal and immoral acts by Global Extraction Companies are terminated and that, again, the Sacred Rights of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent of Indigenous peoples are upheld at all times.
