Unity of Emotion: The Heart as the Foundation of Global Unity

Unity of Emotion- The Foundation of Actualizing the 7 Fires of Global Unity!

The heart takes the first step on the path of unity. The heart is the first unifier that unites the minds for a common purpose. The mind gathers knowledge, but the heart determines how that knowledge is employed.

The purification of the heart is essential to allow humanity to

rise to the level of unity and attain oneness. Without oneness, all unities are incomplete and often lead to conflict. The heart is the root of the mind, and the mind is the blossoming of the heart and unity.

Living Ceremony and all other processes that heal the heart must always precede the gathering of minds in consultative, spiritual democracy so that the hearts may be pure in their presence as we each take our place in the circle. Through the ceremonial structure, we can glimpse our common beauty as beauty arises from the ordered nature of the universe and peacefulness arises from beauty.

Living Ceremony sets the stage for consultations that discover common desires for health and well-being, uniting nations in a divine oneness of purpose to solve complex political and environmental issues. This process establishes a web of unity across the globe, fostering global citizenship.

Ceremony heals the hurts in the heart, creating space for a higher order of emotional competency and maturity. This twin process of healing and maturing will enable humanity to become emotionally mature caretakers of each other and more importantly, Mother Earth herself. Emotional competency determines our ability to take care of ourselves.

The total emotional competency in the members of a society becomes its moral competency: the ability of society to take care of the citizens of that society. Thus, the healing of the heart becomes the healing of the peoples of Mother Earth.

The goal of this process is the unity of the heart that will blossom into the unity of the mind. If unity of thought is an ideal, the unity of the heart is the pathway to that ideal.

Spiritually Mature people with emotionally skillful hearts are the stepping stones to the values of kindness, love, compassion and justice, and respect critical in creating global unity.
