In Times Square, NYC, Indigenous leaders from across the Americas and Indonesia shared prayer songs and messages , in honor all those relatives of the Human Family, averaging two each week, who had been murdered for defending our Mother Earth.
Then at exactly 11:47 Pm, International Mother Earth Day, April 22, 2016, most all the large signs surrounding Times Square transformed into a beautiful three-minute video of the sights and sounds of the Amazon Rain Forest! The respectful silence, of many, that briefly reigned across Times Square during those five minutes, was very palpable!
