Tiger is really busy, including mom and dad, in preparing what is called today, a common application, that is used for admission to one of the Universities, Tiger is making early application on Friday.
In the process, we came across a video of Tiger, giving his final Creative Writing presentation at the Emerging Writer's Institute that Tiger attended at Stanford University in July and August 2016.
Each student had one minute to present a short, creative story. Tiger's was entitled the Bone Zone.
Applying to a University or College is not like it was in my day. In 1962 I sent my grades and a little background about myself to the University of Washington, after spending almost a year hitchhiking across the US and then catching a free ride to Europe on an S4 Freighter from New York.
Today, you have to share about yourself "holistically" and some Universities and Colleges are even promoting a diverse student body. Big change!
Now, if we could all realize that every young person who has the desire and dedication should have a good, tuition-free education and forgiving all the Student Debt of those who have successfully completed College or University, then real change will start.
Learning a Trade should be tuition-free, as well. Without plumbers, welders, auto mechanics, electricians, carpenters, and other related trades and services, our Human Family would be in rough shape.
This is the kind of investment we need to make for our emerging 7th Generation. Far better for the future than making weapons of war for killing and destroying.
