Four years ago, when our small circle in Vancouver begin to engage in shutting down the Alberta Tar Sands, I said that the " Winds of Global Change are with us! Sooner or later a Global Economic System that believes you can get out of debt by creating more debt is going to hit the wall!"
Although, we have seen these kinds of current Global Economic Challenges before, it will be very interesting to see how this one plays out! If Global economic conditions continue to spin out of control, the financial capacity to
make profit out of Tankers and Pipelines will be a further challenge to them being built! This means both our efforts to Protect the Sacred and our creation of Alternative Energy Sources like Solar and Wind need to greatly intensify!
