In 1985, after consulting with many Elders of different Tribes and Nations of Turtle Island about a core shared cosmovision Four Worlds published The Sacred Tree. In the past 31 years more than 120,000 copies have been distributed to Indigenous Schools and Communities across Canada and the US. It has also been used by other Indigenous Teachers in on-going workshops.
Some years ago a beloved sister, Carmen Funcia from Mexico translated it into Spanish. Now in Indigenous communities in Latin America are widely sharing it with their communities. What is very uplifting, but should not be surprising is that this fundamental cosmovision is shared across the Americas! If the Natural Laws of Mother Earth are your teachers, why not?
