Beloved Relatives!
Through sacred power, Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka, the Great Mystery, brought each of us into being. With infinite wisdom and strength, Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka formed us from the sacred elements of Creation and placed within us a living spark of the Great Mystery’s own light.
Be content in the knowledge that this sacred light already lives within us. Do not search outside ourselves for what Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka has already planted within our spirit. We were created with purpose, dignity, beauty, and gifts that belong uniquely to each of us.
Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka's work is whole and sacred. Trust the spiritual purpose for which we were brought into this world. Don't let fear or doubt make us forget our true nature.
Walk forward with courage. Protect the light within each of us. Let it shine through our words, our actions, and our service to the Human Family, Mother Earth, and all our relations.
