My younger wrestling days. Along with being selected by my coaches to be Captain of our Wa-Hi Blue Devils wrestling team, there were two other Awards that had a special meaning to me because they voted and given by my teammates.
One was the Most Inspirational Player Award in Football and the other was the Mr. Hustle Award in wrestling being given to me here by our coach, Mr. McBride. My beloved father was my inspiration. Before every football ball or wrestling match he would remind me to give my all no matter, win or lose. He told me you never lose if you always give everything you can, at every moment and I did the very I could to follow his advice and his living example.
