The International Treaty to Protect and Restore Mother Earth was signed by Indigenous Leaders from across the Americas and Indonesia on Mother Earth Day, April 22, 2016, in New York City, New York, at the same time the Paris Climate Change Accord was signed. The International Treaty to Protect and Restore Mother Earth is what is really needed to address Climate Change.
The Paris Climate Change Accord was adopted without the voice and input of Indigenous Peoples. It is great that most Nation States finally agreed that human beings have an impact on Climate Change, but if you take the time to read and study the Paris Climate Change Accord you will find it is non-binding and will not stop climate change!
