For the Indigenous World, this is a very historic movement. The Haudenosaunee Confederacy has never up their Sovereignty to the US Government! It was the Haudenosaunee Confederacies Great Law of Peace from where Benjamin Franklin, George Washington , Thomas Jefferson and others drew inspiration and guidance for creating the US Constitution.
The difference between the Great Law of Peace and the US Constitution is that the US Constitution left out the critical role of women and the unity of governance and spiritual values. As well. the US Constitution limited the participation in the ' New Democracy" to white males who were land owners! This has resulted in corruption, racial and ethnic strife and violence and other disintegration that we are witnessing more and more, with every passing day!
