This is my first semi-animated story, The Great Wolf and Little Mouse Sister, co-produced and directed, in 1985, with my dear, Chocktaw Brother, Phil Lucas. Brother Phil, journeyed to the Other Side Camp, on February 4, 2007.
I wrote the script, based on real experience. Brother Phil took the script and with a great Micmaw Artist, Patty Lucas created the film. Brother Phil and I are voices, along with other wonderful voices from the Kainai First Nation. It was all volunteer.
I traveled to Miami, Florida, and shared the film, at the National PBS Conference, and as a result, Channel 9 and United Indians were given a substantial grant, to produce and air our Six-Part Series, Walking With Grandfather.
As well, we developed an accompanying, Curriculum, with Elder Sister, Jane Goodall sister, and Roots and Shoots. We are currently in the process of creating a new, Six-Part Series, Walking With Grandfather, with a new, 2020 cast, including two grandchildren. Wopida!
