The Great Remembering of Our Original Unity

The realization of the irrevocable and divinely ordained prophecies given to our Indigenous peoples depends on the awakening and the stirring of the spiritual conscience of our entire human family. This cannot be achieved without the occurrence of unnumbered afflictions, manifold convulsions, and growing adversities.

There comes a moment in the long journey of humanity when memory begins to return, not as something learned, but as something remembered from deep within the spirit. These are the moments we are in now.

The prophecies entrusted to our Indigenous peoples speak not only of upheaval and transformation, but of a great remembering, a reawakening of who we have always been beneath the layers of separation, fear, and forgetting.

For as the storms of this world intensify and the structures built on imbalance begin to tremble, something else begins to rise quietly within the human heart: a recognition, ancient and undeniable, that we are not separate beings struggling against one another, but relatives, bound together in a single sacred existence.

When this awakening becomes full, when it moves beyond the mind and settles deeply into the spirit of humanity, we will begin to see with new eyes. We will realize that the identity we have carried, divided by nations, by histories, by constructed boundaries, has always been incomplete.

Beneath these layers, we are, and have always been, Indigenous to Mother Earth. Not in the limited sense of belonging to one place or one people, but in the deepest truth, that every human being is born of our Mother Earth, sustained by her, and accountable to her. We are all, in this sacred sense, Indigenous to life itself.

And in that realization comes something even more profound, something that reaches beyond philosophy and into the very fabric of existence itself: the recognition of our original, prior unity.

Not a unity that must be created, negotiated, or constructed, but one that has always been. A unity that existed before our divisions, before our histories, before our names.

For we have never truly been separate. We have always been one heart expressing itself through many hearts, one mind reflecting itself through many minds, one spirit living within many bodies.

What we have called separation has been a kind of forgetting. A long journey of experience in which humanity explored difference, identity, and form, sometimes losing sight of the deeper truth that holds it all together.

But this forgetting was never the end of the story. It was part of a larger movement, a sacred unfolding. And now, as the awakening deepens across our Mother Earth, something ancient begins to stir within us. We begin to remember that we have always belonged to one another, that beneath every boundary and every distinction, we are one human family.

This remembering carries us even further, into a realization that is both spiritual and scientific, both ancient and newly understood. For we are not only united as human beings, but we are united in our very origin.

From the beginning of time, we have come from the same source, the same seed of creation. Every one of us, without exception, shares in that original beginning. And when we look deeply into our own bodies, into the very cells that make up our being, we find confirmation of this truth written in the language of the universe itself.

Within each cell of our bodies are elements that were not born on this Mother Earth, but in the great cosmic events that shaped the universe.

The iron in our blood, the element that carries oxygen and sustains our life, was forged in the heart of exploding stars, in the powerful death and rebirth of supernovas. The calcium in our bones, giving us strength and structure, was formed in those same stellar furnaces.

The carbon that forms the basis of all life, the oxygen we breathe, the nitrogen within our DNA, the phosphorus that carries energy through every living cell, all of these were created in the life cycles of stars that existed long before our Mother Earth was formed.

This means that we are not separate from the universe; we are expressions of it. We are, quite literally, made of stardust. The same forces that shaped the galaxies, that ignited the stars, that brought forth light from darkness, are present within us now.

In this way, we are truly the children of the stars, not as a metaphor alone, but as a living, physical reality. The universe is not something outside of us. The universe lives within us, breathes through us, and expresses itself as us.

And so, when we speak of unity, we are not speaking of an idea we must strive to achieve. We are speaking of a truth we must remember. A truth that lives in our spirit, in our ancestry, and even in our very biology.

The diversity we see among human beings—the many cultures, languages, traditions, and ways of life- is not a contradiction of this unity, but its expression. Just as a single tree gives rise to many branches, each unique yet connected to the same root, so too does humanity express its oneness through its diversity.

The awakening now unfolding is, at its core, the remembering of this prior unity. It is the realization that before we were divided into nations, before we were separated by belief or identity, we were already one. And that unity has never been lost—it has only been obscured.

Now, as the challenges of our time press upon us, as the illusions of separation begin to fall away, we are being called to return to that original knowing.

To remember that we are one human family. To remember that we come from one source. To remember that the same stars that gave birth to the elements within us continue to shine above us, reminding us of our shared origin and our shared destiny.

And in that remembering, something powerful begins to take place. The barriers between us soften. The need to dominate gives way to the desire to relate.

The lived experience of connection replaces the illusion of isolation. We begin to see one another not as strangers, but as relatives, expressions of the same life, the same mystery, the same sacred unfolding.

This is the deeper meaning of unity. This is the truth that has always been. And this is what we are now, together, remembering.

This is why the prophecies and teachings speak of reunion. Not the creation of something new, but the coming back together of what was never meant to be divided.

The reunion of the condor and the eagle is not only a meeting of North and South, of different peoples and traditions, but it is a symbol of the reunification of the human spirit itself.

It is the moment when the wisdom of the heart and the clarity of the mind return to balance. It is the restoration of the right relationship among people, nations, and humanity with Mother Earth.

This reunion is not merely symbolic; it is deeply practical and profoundly necessary. For without this remembering, the challenges we face will continue to deepen. But with it, everything begins to change.

When we see each other as relatives and understand that the hurt of one is the hurt of all, exploitation becomes unthinkable. When we recognize that we share one life, justice becomes not an ideal but a necessity. When we feel, truly feel, that we are one heart and one mind, then the suffering of any part of humanity becomes the concern of all.

And so, the afflictions, the convulsions, the growing adversities that we witness are not only signs of breakdown, they are also the catalysts of this remembering. They are pressing humanity to the point where we can no longer sustain the illusion of separation. They are calling us, urgently and unmistakably, to awaken. Not partially, not intellectually, but fully, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and collectively.

In this way, what we are living through is a great reawakening. A return. A homecoming. The human family, long scattered in its understanding, is being called back into its original unity.

And as this awakening unfolds, we will come to see that the prophecies were never about the end of the world, but about the transformation of it, the restoration of balance, the renewal of relationship, and the emergence of a way of living rooted in respect, reciprocity, and responsibility.

We stand, then, not at the end of something, but at the threshold of remembrance. And as we step forward, guided by the wisdom of our ancestors and the stirrings of our own hearts, we begin to live into that truth: that we have always been one, and that now, at this sacred moment, we are remembering it together.
