Tahansi Kevin Locke, Brother Phil Lucas, Sisters Dorothy Maquabeak Francis, Diane Longboat, Jackie Left Hand Bull, Deloria Bighorn and Faith Spotted Eagle, Brother Lee Brown, Son Rueben George, Tonja Lyla June Johnston, the Community of Alkaili Lake, Brother Floyd Westerman Chief Dan George, and many other Indigenous peoples of the Americas of different spiritual faiths are perfect examples of the fullfillment of the Profecy in the Tablets of the Divine Plan. This prophecy was revealed on April 8, 1916, in the garden outside the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh, by his son, Abdul-Baha, the Centre of His Covenant.
This Prophecy states that the Indigenous peoples of the Americas would become so illumined that they would enlighten the world. The Path is one of spiritual education regarding Sacred Qualities, Guilding Principles, Global Prophecies, Progressive Revelation, and other Spiritual Verities at the foundation of every Sacred Teacher and Faith of our Human Family.
This is precisely what Tahansi Kevin did globally. And I would like to emphasize that this Profecy refers to all the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas, not any particular Faith. For instance, the Indigenous peoples of the Americas are leading the Global Movement to Unify Our Human Family, End War, and Begin Peace on Earth by 2030.
Our Indigenous peoples of the Americas also had our Divine Messagegers, just as all Members of Our Human Family have always had Spiritual Teachers. An excellent example of this is the White Buffalo Woman who came to the Oceti Sakwin, the Seven Council Fires, in about 950 AD. Her Sacred Words and Teachings were given in Sacred Songs. Tahansi Kevin had learned them all. He taught me the Sacred Covenant between the Oceti Sakowin and our Creator. Her Sacred Teachings are what have enabled the Oceti Sakowin to survive a spiritual wintertime of attempted genocide.
Her follower, Black Elk, prophesied the coming of two men flying like arrows from the East and the Unity of Our Human Family.

The Global Destiny of the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas, the Pacific Islands, and Aotearoa
When the light of Muhammad shone forth amid the inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula, the peoples of His homeland became the most intellectually and materially advanced in the Western World.
They developed astronomy, chemistry, geology, medicine, physics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, music, poetry, literature, philosophy, great libraries, public hospitals, and an Islam-wide non-interest banking system. In this learning process, they were responsible for the translation and preservation of the ancient Greek works of science and natural philosophy. In fact, from all these intellectual and artistic developments, many Arabic words were integrated into the European worldview and languages.
This is an essential and fundamental dimension of the reference in the Tablets of the Divine Plan regarding the Arabic “radiance” that “ illumined” the world. This “illumination” was most pronounced in Europe, even though Christian Clergy demonized Muhammad and His spiritual teachings. This “illumination” transformed Europe from the “Dark Ages” to the “Renaissance!” While it is essential to fully recognize the brilliance of Islamic scientific and artistic achievements, the Spiritual Foundation of Islam was the source of all Scientific and Economic Innovations.
The Tablets of the Divine Plan and other Sacred Indigenous Prophesies of the Americas and beyond promise that the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas, including our direct relatives, who migrated from the Americas across the Pacific Islands and Aotearoa, have a far greater global destiny than those illuminated by the light of Muhammad.
“There can be no doubt that they will become so illumined as to enlighten the whole world.”
In essence, the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas, the Pacific Islands, and Aotearoa, as foretold in the Tablets of the Divine Plan, will become so spiritually and intellectually illumined that they will spiritually and intellectually enlighten all members of the Human Family. Hence, some Indigenous peoples call those that stayed in the Americas the “Big Brother” and those that migrated to the Pacific Islands the “ Younger Brother.”
The only written prophecies regarding this spiritual destiny of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas are from the Book of Mormon and the Tablets of the Divine Plan. However, more than 50 years later, the prophecies of Oglala Holy Man, Black Elk, were written down in Black Elk Speaks.
There are many indigenous prophecies, across the Americas, including the 2012 Mayan Prophecies, The Reunion of the Condor and the Eagle, the Eighth Council Fire, the Return of the White Buffalo, the Prophecies of Black Elk, The Peacemaker, Quetzalcoatl, Sweet Medicine, Handsome Lake, the Hopi, and many others. These prophecies are firmly and unshakably rooted in the spiritual understanding and consciousness of the Oneness of the Human Family and all Life.
They foretell, in essence, of the rising of a New Day, a New Global Civilization, the “Day That Shall Not Be Followed by Night.” But, this New Day, this New Global Civilization is not a new world order where the extremely wealthy or a secret elite enslave most of humanity for their own selfish and greedy purposes or a new world order where everyone is forced to look, act, and think the same, nor is it a new world order dominated by any nation-state, nor is it a new world order created by an Anti-Christ before an Armageddon arrives.
This New Global Civilization is based on fully understanding and realizing the Prior Unity and Oneness of our Human Family, and All Life, with Justice as the fundamental organizing principle. Within the Web of Life, the Hurt of One is the Hurt of All, and the Healing and Restoration of One is the Healing and Restoration of All!
Even today, let alone 100 years ago or more, most scholars and historians would declare any Prophecy that said the Indigenous peoples of the Americas would become so illumined they would enlighten the world to be complete foolishness. But only those who are the inheritors of this Prophecy have been given the grace to fulfill it. And never doubt for a moment that this Prophecy has been and is being fulfilled with every passing moment, everywhere, all at once.
The ancient Indigenous understanding of the fundamental oneness and unity of all life is a primary spiritual foundation of this illumination and enlightenment. This includes all members of our Human Family, united in a Sacred Covenant with our Beloved Creator. Furthermore, since all members of the Human Family are a part of the Sacred Oneness of Life, we are all Indigenous Peoples of Mother Earth. The parallels between Indigenous Peoples everywhere on Mother Earth demonstrate the mutual spiritual foundation among all the Indigenous Peoples of Mother Earth.
These ancient Indigenous traditions provide a template of spiritual values, virtues, and guiding principles, whose cornerstone is Justice. According to Indigenous prophecies, all members of our Human Family will sooner or later awaken to the spiritual reality that we are One Human Family. In this birth process, a new Global Civilization is rapidly and peacefully emerging based on an Ancient and Eternal Covenant rooted in ancient cultural and spiritual traditions and values that have and will continue to prevail throughout eternity.
The full recognition of this fundamental truth requires the abandonment of all prejudice -- prejudice of every kind -- race, class, sexual orientation, color, creed, national, sex, the degree of material civilization, everything which enables people to consider themselves superior to others.
Along with the elimination of all prejudice, from this spiritual understanding and consciousness naturally unfolds the realization of the Equality of Men and Women, the Balancing of the Extremes of Wealth and Poverty, the Unity of Science and Spirituality, Universal Education, the Independent Investigation of Truth, and Unity in Diversity.
In summary, a New Global Civilization is arising where the voices, wisdom, and vision of Indigenous Peoples will be justly and respectfully represented. The fulfillment of these Sacred Prophecies is accelerating and is being fulfilled everywhere, all at once.
