Our heartfelt thanksgiving to a great teacher and human being, Dr. Daniel Jordan, a key and founding developer of the ANISA Model. Dr. Jordan and Dr. Donald Streets, an ANISA co-developer, were primary academic mentors of Indigenous developers of the Four Worlds Development Model. This includes brother, Dr. Lee Brown, and dear and beloved friend, Dr. Martha Manygreyhorses.
From 1978 -1982 Indigenous People’s traveled to San Diego, California, to attend the National University's M.ED Program that focused on the ANISA Model. Thankfully, Dr. Donald Streets, into his middle eighties, is still with us in all ways.
Then, tragically on October 16, 1982, Dr. Jordan was found murdered, the morning after he arrived in New York City, on his way to speak at the Association for the World's Universities, at the New York University Club. Two weeks after Dr. Jordan’s death, a completely unexpected $100,000.00 of unselected funds were granted to initiate Four Worlds.
To some relatives, this statement may question my sanity, but I have always prayed for Brother Dan in the Other Side Camp, just as I am aware that Brother Dan and other relatives, from the Other Side Camp, are praying for, inspiring, and supporting me and other beloved ones. When I have needed his guidance, Brother Dan has always been there.
Along with Dr. CG Jung, another European “Elder” whose thinking is directly related to the Four Worlds Indigenous World-View, is Alfred North Whitehead. Especially relevant to Indigenous perspectives is his book, Process, and Reality. Both Dr. Jordan and Dr. Streets were masters at guiding us to those European thinkers, to learn from, that were in harmony with our Indigenous Perspectives.
And yes, while many relatives are unaware, Indigenous World-Views, at their depths, understands and resonates in Indigenous languages, the thinking of Dr. CG Jung, Alfred North Whitehead, and integrative scheme of thought of the ANISA Model. This will be fully clarified as we understand the principle of the unity of science and spirituality.
The ANISA perspective of the power and impact of the Arts in transforming consciousness has a direct relationship to the efficacy of the Tipping Point System.
My heartfelt thanksgiving to Dr. Jordan, Dr. Streets, and the other wonderful elders, spiritual mentors and teachers who have graced my life, highlighted by my beloved mother and father.
