Standing Together in Unity at Standing Rock

This article is misleading! This picture appears to be from one the South American First Nations. The Headdress looks to be from the Jungle areas that could include Columbia, Equador, Peru, Bolivia or Venezuela or maybe up into Central America, but certainly not the Dakota's. So this is not happening now at Standing Rock.

It will be very challenging after the Injunction hearing in Washington, DC this Wednesday. If the legal order requested by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline is not approved then, hard decisions are required.

If US Tribes and Canadian First Nations stand together on their Treaties and Inherent Sovereignty in unbreakable unity and support with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in stopping the Dakota Access Pipeline, then State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies will move to arrest anyone who directly opposes the Dakota Access Pipeline crossing the Missouri.

If this unified position and action of US Tribes, Nations and Canadian First Nations based on our Treaties and Inherent Sovereignty are wisely, peacefully, patiently and prayerfully carried forward, we have the opportunity for a great victory. This victory will have a profound impact on Indigenous Peoples and other Members of the Human Family, everywhere on Mother Earth that stand with us in Protecting and Restoring Mother Earth.

If we give up or allow them to provoke violence or fall prey once again to colonial divide and conquer tactics, it will be the beginning of the end of our of collective capacity, via our Treaties and Inherent Sovereignty, to stop the ever-deepening destruction of our Human Family and Mother Earth. I am not a lawyer, but this is how I see the possibilities of profound, positive global opportunity for change at the Sacred Stone Camp at Cannon Ball, Standing Rock the homelands of Chiefs Gall and Sitting Bull and many other great Dakota and Lakota Spiritual Leaders.

We will arrive with Northwest Tribal and First Nations Leaders and the Totem Pole Journey, lead by Master Carver and Lummi Nation Elder, Jewell James, to Bismarck, North Dakota on August 29, and then travel with relatives from Standing Rock August 30, who will guide us around the Road Blocks to Cannon Ball.
