One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple, Shunkmanu gathered his grandchildren, Oliver, Ella, Natayu, and their friends around him before a crackling fire.
" Dear ones," Shunkmanu said with a smile. "Tonight, I will tell you about our Creator's infinite and mysterious worlds."
Ella, Nahtayu, Oliver, and their friends settled down eagerly, their eyes shining with curiosity.
"Know for certain," Shunkmanu began, "there are countless worlds created by the Great Spirit, spanning an infinite range of possibilities. No one can truly comprehend or count them except our All-Knowing Creator."
The children gasped in wonder, trying to imagine all those unseen worlds.
"Now," Shunkmanu continued, "think about when you go to sleep at night. Have you ever had dreams that felt so real, like they could happen in this world?"
The children nodded, recalling their own vivid dreams.
"That's right," Shunkmanu said, "sometimes things you dream about tonight can become a reality in the future."
Oliver raised his hand and asked, "But why don't our dreams come true right away?"
"That's an insightful and brilliant question," Shunkmanu replied with a twinkle in his eyes. "If the dream world and the waking world were the same, then events from your dreams would happen in real-time. But they don't, which means the world of dreams and the waking world are distinct and separate."
Ella tilted her head, trying to grasp the concept. "So, our dreams are like another world inside us?"
"Exactly," Shunkmanu said, impressed by Ella's insight. "Some believe that this waking world exists within us as part of our inner reality, created by our Creator. Others think that when we sleep, our spirits are freed from earthly attachments and travel through a hidden realm within this world, guided by the Creator."
The children were fascinated, their young minds absorbing every word.
Shunkmanu continued, "The Creator's creation is vast and beyond our sight. It includes worlds we cannot see and creatures different from those we know. Each of these worlds holds its own mysteries, known only to the All-Searching, the All-Wise Creator."
Nahtayu asked with curiosity, "How can we uncover the purpose of the Creator?"
"Ah, that's a good question," Shunkmanu said with a smile. "Take time to contemplate what has been shared with you. Seek wisdom, and you will uncover the purpose of our Creator. Wisdom holds countless mysteries.
At other times, Shunkmanu shared stories of distant planets with colorful landscapes, rivers flowed with silver water, and trees bore fruits of every imaginable flavor. He described creatures with wings of shimmering light and beings who communicated through songs that resonated with the souls of those who heard them. The children's imaginations soared, and they couldn't help but wonder what these far-off worlds might look like.
One evening, Nahtayu asked, "Are these worlds real, Lala, or just fairy tales?"
Shunkmanu smiled gently. "My dear Nahtayu, just because we cannot see something with our eyes doesn't mean it isn't real. Our Creator's creation is vast and far beyond our human understanding.
These worlds may seem like fairy tales, but they are as real as our world. The Creator's imagination knows no bounds, and the universe is a canvas for endless possibilities."
Oliver, always curious about the practical side of things, said, "Can we ever visit these worlds, Lala?"
Shunkmanu's eyes twinkled. "While we may not be able to travel to these worlds physically, the journey of the spirit can take you anywhere once your soul is prepared. Close your eyes and let your mind wander. You can explore these realms in your heart and soul with imagination and dreams.
One night, as a shooting star streaked across the sky, Ella whispered, "Do you think that's a traveler from one of those far-off worlds, Lala?"
Shunkmanu smiled warmly. "Who's to say it isn't? The universe is vast, and there are many wonders we have yet to understand. Each twinkling star might be a world of its own, just like our own Earth."
Nahtayu pondered this thoughtfully. "I wonder if we're connected to all those worlds in some way."
Shunkmanu nodded. "Indeed, my dear Nahtayu. We may seem small, but we are a part of this great tapestry of creation. Our thoughts, actions, and dreams can have ripples that extend far beyond what we can see."
Oliver grinned. "So, we have our own hidden realm inside us, just like the dream world?"
"Absolutely," Shunkmanu affirmed. "Every one of us carries a universe within. As you grow, remember to explore both the outer and inner worlds. Seek knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, for the journey of discovery never truly ends."
The children nodded, their hearts filled with wonder and purpose. They realized that the mysteries of the universe were not just tales by the fire but for them to uncover and explore throughout their lives.
