We had a good time together! I shared stories told to me by my Grandfather Vine Deloria Sr. including, "How the Duck's Got Red Eyes," and "The Woman Who Lived with the Wolves!" It was somewhat challenging as our circle was aged 3-80.
This is when you need to really get animated and a little crazy! So I don't know if the 3-year-olds understood the stories or enjoyed me being a little crazy and wild. We also learned a song together and closed with a Handshake Circle. It was a great day. With my pinched nerves, I did suffer some afterward, but it was well worth it to experience and share stories, songs, and spirits that have been carried forward for many generations!
