November 21, 2016. "Sacred Prophecies of the Seventh Generation"
Chief Phil Lane Jr., at a Sacred Ceremony in Santa Monica, with other Indigenous Spiritual Leaders, firmly and resolutely stated, There is 'No Materialistic Force in Heaven or Earth will finally withstand the Sacred Prophecies of the Seventh Generation." This Sacred Ceremony at Santa Monica Pier honored the Oceti Sakowin 7th Generation Runners, November 21, 2016. The Sacred Ceremony was hosted by AIM-Southern California.
Following this Sacred Ceremony, Mayan Elder, Tata Pedro, Bobbi Jean Three Legs, Hunkpapa, Wakpala, SD and Chief Phil, standing on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, raised the Global Torch of Compassion and called for a Great Global Wopida Ceremony.
The first Global Wopida Ceremony will commence on November 26, through World Human Rights Day, December 10, 2016. Other Global Wopida Ceremony processes will follow, culminating on World Peace and Prayer Day, June 21, 2017, at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
The word Wopida in the Dakota Language means Thanksgiving and Gratitude, for everything the Great Spirit gives us, great and small, graceful or challenging! Connecting to this spiritual quality of Gratitude and Thanksgiving is giving to others. From another perspective, one of the Greatest Gifts to give to our beloved ones is renounce our hatred, resentments, bitterness, judgment of others and prejudices!
