Restoration, Not Empty Apologies: Churchianity and True Faith

How much of this wealth is the result of the global colonization of Churchianity? I can not call what happened Christianity.

Whatever was unjustly taken needs to be returned to the People it was taken from, including church properties on Indigenous lands, with interest. Without restoration, an apology is empty.

If I burned your house down, I doubt if you would be satisfied with an apology. And if I was crooked, I would give you an apology, so I would have to restore your house that I burned down, plus damages!

What happened, from my perspective, had nothing to do with the Spiritual Teachings of Jesus, that is why I call it Churchianity. In fact, what was done is completely opposite of the Spiritual Teachings of Jesus.

At the same time, there are many of our wonderful relatives who were and are true Christians. My grandmother, Martina Sherwood, from Wakpala, on Standing Rock, who went to the Other Side Camp at 97, is a perfect example. She told me you should never go to Church if you had any ill feelings for another person.

Her favorite Saint was St. Jude, the Saint for hopeless cases. Among others, she enrolled both my Tahansi Greg Sherwood and myself, on the list for prayers from St. Jude, when we were young.

I have sometimes been a hopeless case, but shortly I will be 77 and am very hopeful, so Unchi's prayers and St. Jude, must be working! My Tahansi Greg Sherwood is doing well, too.

Thank you, Unchi Martina!
