Remembering the Sixty Million Buffalo That Crossed This Land

Imagining sixty million Buffalo that used to make their yearly journey North and South across this land.

My father said the herds would be 100 miles long and 40 miles wide. Reduced to about 1000, encouraged, by the US Congress’s “Starve or Surrender Act.” This act encouraged the elimination of the Buffalo, eventually starving Indigenous peoples into surrender.

By the 1950’s and 1960’s most Indigenous people had been made to become dependent for their lives on the Federal Government, with little hope.

Today across the Americas Indigenious Peoples and other members of our Human Family are joining together, in unprecedented, unified, action, fulfilling all the Sacred Prophecies!
