The 3rd Continental Indigenous Council and Unity Drum Pow Wow were held on the Kainai Nation, Southern Alberta, in August 1982.
Indigenous peoples and friends from 10 countries, representing 60 Indigenous Nations, participated. It was a blessing to have Hand of the Cause Rúhíyyih Khanum, with us, at all events, including a Sacred Pipe Ceremony.
We are looking forward to the 4th Continental Indigenous Council possible return to Wilmette in September 2020, for the 4th Continental Indigenous Council and Unity Pow Wow.
