Remembering the 1992 Windstar Conference in Aspen, Colorado

Almost 32 Years Ago, on August 15, 1992, with my Beloved Wife and Father, in Aspen, Colorado, after the Windstar Conference and the Four Worlds Elders Council's Traditional Headdress Ceremony, Honor Dance, and the presentation by John Denver of the Annual Windstar Award. How fast these days have since flashed by.

Having said that, I have complete faith that we are just getting started. The rest of 2024 and onward will be some times our Human Family will remember well as the birth contractions deepen as we emerge into our spiritual adulthood, as prophecied!

How much more deepening pain and suffering will we have to go through before we wake up and realize we are One Human Family, all of us Indigenous peoples of Mother Earth, and the Hurt of One is the Hurt of All and that he Healing, Restoration, and Honor of One is the Healing, Restoration, and Honor of all, only Wakan Tanka knows!

Three people smile in front of a woven blanket: a woman in a colorful floral dress, Phil Lane Jr. in a feathered headdress and beaded regalia, and his father in a white cowboy hat and blue jacket.
