Twelve years ago, today, March 29, 2004, my beloved father, Mato Gi, Brown Bear, Phil Lane Sr., mounted his favorite horse, Eagle Claws, and rode over to the "Other Side Camp" after 89 well lived winters. He was truly a most wonderful "Lala", Grandfather, not only to his own direct grandchildren,but children he met everywhere! He wrote this just before he went to" The Other SIde Camp" ,but his wisdom, love and understanding of this dimension of life is timeless!
