Remembering My Father, a Lifelong Horseman

My beloved father and I. When my father was not at work, and when he retired, whatever the occasion, this is how he would dress.

In 1990, he rode and competed with his last cutting horse, Sweet Pea, winning the Northwest Cutting Horse Championship for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana when he was 75.

It was almost like he and horses were one, having ridden horses since he was a very young boy. Everyone who knew his relationship with horses would call him a horse whisperer.

He journeyed to the Other Side Camp when he was 89.
