Remembering Mary Elizabeth Thunder After My Fast at Bear Butte

· Reflection

I met beloved Mary Elizabeth Thunder just after I fasted at Bear Butte ,1979, and went to Crow Dog's paradise, with my brother Jimmy Robideau, to have a sweat with Deksi Leonard Crow Dog! Mary is a beloved sister who has always given her all to serve the People.

A smiling grey-haired man in a black hooded top sits cheek to cheek with a smiling boy in a white T-shirt who has an arm around him.

The same photo repeated: a smiling grey-haired man in a black top and a smiling boy in a white T-shirt embracing against a pale wall.
