Having just returned from Europe and seeing the beginning of the huge refugee challenge as a direct result of destabilizing the Middle East and Northern Africa via Libya it is my humble perspective that cooperation with Russia will not happen, even if President Obama wants it to happen! For one thing—I doubt that this is “President Obama’s choice”. The US deep state will also have a say—and allying with Russia isn’t on the list.
There are reasons why the US is allied with the terror supporting Sunni Monarchies. They have oil—they price that oil in $’s. This maintains $ hegemony. They have lots of money and they spend it on public relations, on US stocks and real estate, they fund think tanks, and Presidential libraries. There are reasons why the US supports Israel—its supporters have lots of money—they spend on public relations, they fund political campaigns, think tanks, et al.
Logic and reason do not rule these decisions. Plus President Obama has a library to fund and wants to raise a billion dollars for his post-Presidency. The Presidency is a delicate balance of dealing with these competing forces. Our strongest way to move forward is to continue with our prayers and ceremonies, have faith in our prophecies and move towards the positive alternatives, without giving away our energy fighting the negative!
