Prophecies, Dynamic Change and a New Global Civilization: 2025 Update

Preface

In 2018, I shared Prophecies, Dynamic Change, and a New Global Civilization at the Parliament of World Religions in Toronto. This is my update for the beginning of 2025.

Cutting-Edge Technologies and Concepts in 2025

1. Renewable Energy & Climate Solutions

Then (2018): The transition to 100% clean, renewable energy was gaining momentum, with initiatives like Stanford’s Solutions Project mapping out a path to full global adoption by 2050. However, fossil fuel interests still held significant political and economic power, slowing the transition.

Now (2025):

Indigenous-led renewable energy projects are reclaiming ancestral lands, integrating solar, wind, and geothermal energy systems rooted in traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).

The global clean energy transition has accelerated with fusion energy breakthroughs, particularly in Tokamak and Stellarator reactors, moving us closer to an era of limitless clean power.

AI-powered smart grids are optimizing energy distribution, reducing energy waste, and providing localized power autonomy to remote and Indigenous communities.

Solid-state battery advancements have revolutionized energy storage, making electric vehicles (EVs) and off-grid renewable systems more efficient.

Carbon capture and direct air capture (DAC) technologies are being deployed at larger scales to combat runaway climate change.

Indigenous climate councils are advising international climate policy, ensuring just energy transitions respect land rights and cultural sovereignty.

Water sovereignty initiatives are integrating renewable energy solutions with water purification systems, safeguarding global freshwater supplies.

2. Digital Finance & Decentralized Governance

Then (2018): Cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and decentralized finance (DeFi) were emerging as tools for economic transformation, but they remained volatile, unregulated, and largely disconnected from real-world applications.

Now (2025):

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) have been adopted by multiple nations, creating a new global financial landscape.

Indigenous-led blockchain economies are supporting sustainable trade networks that respect traditional barter systems and resource-sharing.

Quantum-resistant blockchain ensures secure decentralized finance, protecting against cyber threats.

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are being used in Indigenous governance models, ensuring transparent and principle-centered decision-making.

AI-driven smart contracts automate land stewardship agreements, ensuring Indigenous sovereignty over natural resources.

Community wealth redistribution models, powered by blockchain and digital cooperatives, are addressing extreme wealth inequality.

Global Universal Basic Income (UBI) pilots, supported by decentralized finance, are being tested as a means to eliminate poverty while empowering economic independence.

3. AI, Robotics & Automation

Then (2018): AI was being integrated into finance, logistics, and security, but widespread fears of job displacement and ethical concerns limited its use in governance and decision-making.

Now (2025):

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is on the horizon, enabling machines to engage in human-like reasoning, drastically transforming research, governance, and education.

AI-powered regenerative agriculture is optimizing soil restoration, supporting Indigenous-led food sovereignty movements.

Personal AI assistants now facilitate governance, policy implementation, and sustainability efforts, tailored to specific cultural and linguistic contexts.

Robotic automation is transforming construction, using biodegradable materials and AI-designed ecological housing to support sustainable communities.

AI-enhanced Indigenous language revitalization programs are ensuring that sacred languages remain vibrant and accessible for future generations.

Decolonized AI ethics frameworks are being established to prevent bias and ensure equitable benefits of automation.

4. Biomedicine & Longevity Science

Then (2018): Genetic engineering, CRISPR, and bioinformatics were opening new possibilities, but accessibility and ethical concerns slowed their adoption in mainstream healthcare.

Now (2025):

Regenerative medicine breakthroughs (stem cells, gene therapy, and bioprinting) are extending healthy lifespans while preserving cultural wisdom from elders.

AI-designed pharmaceuticals are providing personalized medicine, revolutionizing how chronic diseases are treated.

Redox signaling and mitochondrial restoration therapies are fundamentally changing how we approach aging and cellular repair.

Neural interface technologies are restoring mobility to those with spinal injuries, merging biotechnology with Indigenous healing methods.

Biodegradable nanotechnology is being used for drug delivery, reducing medical waste and environmental toxicity.

Plant-based and Indigenous medicinal knowledge is being integrated into longevity science, reinforcing the understanding that true health requires a spiritual, emotional, and physical balance.

5. Space Exploration & Off-World Civilization

Then (2018): Private companies like SpaceX were laying the groundwork for human space travel, but colonial mindsets dominated discussions on planetary exploration.

Now (2025):

Lunar and Martian settlements are being established with Indigenous perspectives on ethical planetary stewardship, ensuring off-world expansion respects cosmic laws.

Space-based solar power is now a viable energy source, transmitting wireless energy back to Earth.

Asteroid mining for rare earth minerals is advancing, with Indigenous-led ethical frameworks guiding planetary resource extraction.

Indigenous star knowledge is influencing space navigation, reviving ancient teachings about celestial cycles and cosmic interconnectedness.

AI-assisted biosphere engineering is creating self-sustaining habitats for long-term space travel, modeled after Indigenous ecological practices.

Universal agreements on space governance are emerging, ensuring planetary expansion does not repeat the colonial mistakes of the past.

6. Distributed Communication & The Everywhere Spirir

Then (2018): The internet was transforming human interaction, but centralized control by tech corporations limited true global access.

Now (2025):

Decentralized mesh networks are providing universal internet access, bypassing government censorship and corporate monopolies.

Quantum communication systems are eliminating surveillance vulnerabilities, ensuring secure and private global interactions.

AI-driven translation models are revitalizing Indigenous languages, making sacred teachings more accessible.

Holographic communication is replacing traditional video calls, allowing for more immersive and embodied digital gatherings.

Digital sovereignty frameworks are ensuring Indigenous nations control their own data and narratives in the digital age.

The ‘Everywhere Spirit’ is being made manifest through immersive digital experiences that bridge spiritual and physical realities, bringing prophecy and ancient wisdom into contemporary practice.

7. The 7th Generation Leadership & Movement of Movements

Then (2018): Youth-led activism was rising, but traditional governance structures often excluded young voices from major decision-making processes.

Now (2025):

The 7th Generation leadership is now deeply embedded in global governance, shaping environmental, economic, and human rights policies.

Indigenous-led digital activism is mobilizing global action, amplifying voices from frontline communities.

Global Indigenous Councils are influencing climate policy, ensuring Mother Earth’s rights are at the center of international law.

Intergenerational leadership models are ensuring wisdom transmission between elders and young changemakers.

AI-assisted participatory democracy is allowing communities to make real-time, principle-centered decisions.

Education systems are being decolonized, with Indigenous knowledge recognized as foundational rather than supplemental.

The ‘Movement of Movements’ is gaining momentum, connecting social, environmental, and spiritual justice movements into a unified force for transformation.
