Principles of Consultation for the Union of the Condor and Eagle

Below are the Principles of Consultation that I shared with our Indigenous relatives across Bolivia in 1970-1971, and ever since they have been core to our work. These Principles are what the Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle utilize for Consultation.

The beloved Quechua relatives I am in this picture are some of the Volunteer Teachers, women and men, and families who I worked as a full-time member of the Regional Teaching Council. I traveled on foot deep into the Andes, where there were no roads, just footpaths worn down and smooth by centuries of travel.

There was a Regional Teaching Council and Volunteer Travelling Teachers in every Province in Bolivia.

There were 40 full-time Volunteers in the Province of Chuquisaca. Bolivia and many other Part-Time. Volunteer Teachers.

They were and are dedicated to this Day That Shall Not Be Followed By Night, The Fulfillment of the Prophecy, The Unity of our Indigenous of the Union, and our Human Family. They carried and shared these Principles across the Province of Chuquisaca and beyond. Every Province in Bolivia

They only received funds for travel and living expenses. They worked and were leaders in their communities. They knew the deep meaning of serving the People.

These Principles of Consultation we have been sharing for more than 52 years are part of the Union's next steps in fulfilling the Prophecy of the Reunion of the Condor and Eagle Prophecy, unifying our Human Family.

Prophecy fulfillment began in Cocha Bamba and Sucre, Bolivia, on March 21, 1970.

Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle Principles of Consultation.

Purpose: The Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle Principles of Consultation focus on achieving understanding, commitment, and trust among the diverse members of the Human Family. It aims to identify opportunities, solve problems, and determine the best course of unified action.

These principles create an environment that fosters open dialogue, respect for diversity, and effective decision-making.

Here are the principles:

1. Respect each participant and appreciate each other's diversity. This is the prime requisite for Consultation.

Acknowledge the inherent worth of every individual in the consultation process.

Embrace and celebrate the richness of diversity within the Human Family.

Treat each participant with kindness, empathy, and without judgment.

Recognize that mutual respect lays the foundation for meaningful and productive discussions.

2. Value and consider all contributions. Belittle none. Withhold evaluation until sufficient information has been gathered.

Encourage active participation from all individuals involved.

Emphasize the importance of every perspective, idea, and contribution.

Avoid premature judgments or dismissal of opinions before a thorough examination.

Focus on gathering relevant information and fostering an atmosphere of open sharing.

3. Contribute and express opinions with complete freedom.

Promote an environment where individuals feel safe and empowered to express their thoughts openly.

Encourage honest and transparent communication without fear of retribution or criticism.

Ensure all voices are heard and no one feels silenced or excluded.

4. Carefully consider the views of others - if a valid point of view has been offered, accept it as your own.

'

Emphasize active listening and genuine consideration of others' perspectives.

Be open to changing your views in light of compelling arguments or evidence.

Foster a culture of intellectual humility and willingness to learn from one another.

5. Keep to the vision at hand. An extraneous conversation is essential to community building, but it is not Consultation, which is solution-driven.

Stay focused on the Consultation's primary purpose and goals.

Minimize distractions or off-topic discussions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.

Redirect conversations that deviate from the Consultation's core objectives.

6. Share in the unified purpose community - the desire for the success of all concerned.

Cultivate a shared sense of purpose and mission among the participants.

Recognize that success is not limited to individual accomplishments but is tied to the collective well-being of the entire community.

Encourage collaboration and cooperation toward common objectives.

7. Expect the truth, with love and respect, to emerge from the clash of differing opinions. Optimum solutions emerge from a diversity of views.

Recognize that diverse viewpoints can lead to richer insights and better solutions.

Encourage constructive debates while maintaining a respectful and caring atmosphere.

Trust that the collective pursuit of truth will lead to the most viable and well-informed decisions.

8. Once stated, let go of opinions. Don't try to "defend" your position, but let it go. Ownership causes disharmony in the circle and almost always gets in the way of finding the truth.

Encourage detachment from personal opinions and emotional attachment to ideas.

Promote a focus on objective analysis and evidence-based reasoning.

Be open to revising opinions in the face of new information or compelling arguments.

9. Contribute to maintaining a friendly atmosphere by speaking with respect, courtesy, dignity, care, and moderation. This will promote unity and openness.

Promote a culture of civility and kindness in all interactions.

Ensure that disagreements and conflicts are handled with grace and respect.

Foster an atmosphere of inclusivity where everyone feels valued and heard.

10. Seek consensus with dedication and prayer. But if consensus is impossible, let the majority rule. Remember, though, that decisions, once made, become the decision of every participant.

Strive for collective agreement and unity through open dialogue and Consultation.

Recognize the importance of prayer or reflection in the decision-making process for spiritual guidance.

If consensus cannot be reached, please respect the will of the majority while ensuring that all participants' voices are considered and valued.

Embrace decisions collectively, understanding that they reflect the shared responsibility and commitment of the entire community.

Recognize the power of collective wisdom and decision-making.

Understand that unity enables the community to analyze choices and their potential consequences critically.

Emphasize the importance of standing together in both success and adversity, fostering a sense of collective responsibility.

Encourage open discussions and constructive feedback to identify any flaws or errors in the decision-making process.

In a unified environment, individuals are more likely to take ownership of decisions, making them more committed to their successful implementation.

Disunity can hinder the observation of mistakes, as the focus may shift towards assigning blame or defending individual positions.

Acknowledge that learning from wrong choices and making necessary corrections is an essential part of the growth and development of the community.

Value the willingness to adapt and improve decisions based on new insights and experiences.

Promote an atmosphere of resilience, where setbacks are seen as opportunities for growth rather than causes for division.

Reiterate that the strength of the community lies in its ability to come together, learn from its mistakes, and move forward with renewed unity and purpose.
