Praying Together at the Abu Ubaidah Mosque in Jordan

My beloved father always taught me that there is no wrong way to pray, there are just different ways. He told me, always, to pray with all Members of the Human Family when invited or moved to do so.

Therefore, over the past 56 years, I have tried my best to learn prayers and Sacred Teachings, and study all Spiritual Faiths, including the Sacred Teachings of the Indigenous Peoples of Mother Earth. You cannot judge any Faith by fanatics, and we have them in almost all Faiths.

Today, we are with our dear relatives at the Abu Ubaidah Mosque in Jordan, following afternoon prayers. On my left side is my dear brother, Syed Salman Chishty, who joined our Holy Land, Living Water Pilgrimage from India. These prayers happened spontaneously, and all joined in.

Our dear brother, Syed Salman Chishty, is among the “Syed o Saddat” and the Chishty Sufi family of Ajmer Sharif, whose lineage goes back to the Holy Prophet of Islam. He is the 26th generation Gaddi-Nashin.

Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah, fully Abū ‘Ubaydah ‘Āmir ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn al-Jarāḥ (Arabic: أبو عبيدة عامر بن عبدالله بن الجراح‎‎; 583–639 CE), was one of the Companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Mostly known for being one of the "Ten Promised Paradise". He remained commander of a large section of the Rashidun army during the reign of the Rashid Caliph Umar and was among Umar's appointed successors to the Caliphate.
