Prayers at the Mount of Olives for Our Jewish Relatives

My father always took me to cemeteries to pray for relatives, since I was a little boy, whenever we went home to the Dakotas. He always taught me to ask for help from the Creator and those in the Spiritual World.

Remembering my father's guidance, the first thing I did the morning after I arrived in Jerusalem, was to go to Sacred Sites of the Abrahamic Religions. As prayers, had already been done at the Cave of the Patriarchs, I focused on Cemeteries and Holy Places of Women Spiritual leaders.

I started at the Mount of Olives, where I could give my prayers for our Jewish Relatives buried below me at the oldest and largest Jewish Cemetary in the world and, as well, I asked for thier spiritual support and assistance for our Holy Land, Living Water Pilgrimage. And I felt the Love and Grace of these Jewish relatives throughout our Pilgrimage.

An elder with grey hair in a black jacket with a red patterned band stands at a railing, gesturing toward Jerusalem's Old City, the Dome of the Rock and a vast cemetery below.

The same elder leans on a railing beside a stone wall, looking out over the terraced Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives and the city beyond.

The elder raises both open hands in prayer at the railing, overlooking rows of stone tombs and the walls of Jerusalem under a cloudy blue sky.

The elder kneels in prayer on a stone overlook with hands clasped, holding a small object to his lips, as visitors stand nearby above the cemetery.
