~Prayerful Vision for 2025~
May we close our eyes to the distractions of this transitory world of time and space to fully experience and see the sacred beauty of Wakan Tanka, the Great Mystery. Silence our ears to the noise of this life so we may hear the gentle whispers of the Creator’s voice carried on the breath of the wind. Empty our hearts of worldly knowledge and selfish pride so we may drink deeply from the well of true wisdom, the knowledge of our Creator’s eternal ways.
May we release our grip on material wealth and possessions, for they are fleeting shadows, and instead, open our hands to receive the abundance of spiritual gifts flowing like the life-giving waters from the sacred spring.
May we turn our gaze away from all not aligned with the Great Spirit’s beauty and attune our ears to the sacred songs of life that rise like smoke from the prayerful fire. Let our heart and mind be cleansed, free from the dust of worldly ambitions, so that with a clear vision, a pure heart, and a spirit attuned to the rhythms of all creation, we may walk humbly into the sacred circle of holiness, where the eternal light of Wakan Tanka shines without end.
