With a vision deeply grounded in the interconnectedness of all life, we are transcending barriers and uniting diverse peoples and organizations in a shared pursuit of peace, harmony, and environmental guardianship.
This is not merely a promise but a sacred summons to action, urging us to embark on a journey of unity, collectively working to mend our divisions and embrace stewardship for our world family.
Guided by Sixteen Indigenous Guiding Principles, an ethical framework, and a culture of cooperation, we embark on this journey united, committed to safeguarding Mother Earth and cultivating a world brimming with unity, love, justice, and compassion.
Our Covenant is not just about our goals but the kind of global community we aspire to be—one that reveres and nurtures the sacred interconnectedness of all life.
This Sacred Covenant forms the cornerstone of our Indigenous and Ally-Led Global Peace Movement, commencing in the Americas. The initiation of this Movement for global peace will be ceremonially marked at the Lighting of the 8th Fire and the Opening Ceremony of the Gathering of the Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle, taking place from March 18 to March 23, 2024, in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico.
The Lighting of the 8th Fire, the Opening Ceremony, and the launch of the Global Peace Movement will be broadcast live from Palenque starting at 8 AM PDT on March 18, 2024.
