With Sisters Rebecca Tobias and Helen Mann, with beloved wife, Suthida, at the White Rock-Surrey Jewish Community Centre. I was honored to give the opening prayer for the Tu B’Shevat Celebration.
This day in the Jewish calendar celebrates the ”New Year of the Trees. “ There was a Seder of foods and spices from the Holy Land, including grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, wheat, barley, and dates.
Our Jewish relatives also plant trees where they live and send money to Israel to plant trees there.
My prayers included Unifying our Human Family, Ending War, and Beginning Peace on Earth by 2030!
