Let us offer our sacred songs and prayers in a good and balanced way, so that our hearts are not made tired, heavy, or discouraged.
We should not place upon our souls anything that weighs us down. Instead, let us choose those sacred words, songs, and prayers that bring light, strength, and upliftment to our spirits.
When we pray in this way, our souls rise like the eagle on the sacred winds. We are carried closer to the Great Mystery, closer to Wakan Tanka, closer to the Dawning Place where the signs of the Creator are made clear.
Sacred songs and prayers are not meant to burden us. They are meant to awaken us, strengthen us, and help us walk the Red Road with a lighter heart, a clearer mind, and a stronger spirit.
When we pray with balance, beauty, and sincerity, our souls remember who we truly are.
