The intergenerational Trauma and horror of what happened in Canadian Government funded, "Christian" Indian Residential Schools continues to impact First Nations across Canada. For instance, Sexual Abuse, the growing Fentanyl deaths in Indigenous communities is a direct result of the cultural genocide inflicted on Indigenous children by the Government and Christian Churches of Canada.
But without question, another level of justice and compensation is on its way.
