Memories of Home on Ihanktowan Territory with Tanksi Faith

Beautiful memories of being home in South Dakota on Ihanktowan Territory with my Beloved Tanksi Faith, and relatives.

Tanksi Faith is dedicated to serving the People, 24/7. I think she continues serving in her dreams, while she physically rests her being, so she can go at it again, in the morning.

Despite the enormous challenges our relatives have faced and are still facing, this is the Land of the Friendly People, as the sign says when you enter the Yankton Sioux Reservation!

It is good to know, whatever the future may hold, that we will all be together, at another time and another place.

Phil Lane Jr., in a patterned jacket over a black shirt, smiles beside Tanksi Faith, a gray-haired woman in purple with a lavender scarf, by a chain-link fence and bare trees.

Phil Lane Jr. and Tanksi Faith stand side by side smiling outdoors on a sunny day, with a chain-link fence, bare trees and green grass behind them.
