Meeting the Green Sheikh of Ajman in Marrakesh

With HH Sheikh Abdul Aziz from the Ajman Royal Family, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Marrakesh, Morocco. I found the Sheikh to be a very warm-hearted, loving and prayerful gentleman, with a great sense of humor.

We had an excellent meeting and visit about mutual visions and perspectives, especially about empowering the 7th Generation in Protecting and Restoring Mother Earth, especially the Sacredness of Water and our mutual love of horses inspired by our fathers. I shared with him the Prairies TV Series Poster that employs Tiger as a script writer. "Where History Ends and Prophecies Begin."

In the Arab world and beyond, Prince Abdul Aziz is known as the Green Sheikh because of his dedication to Protecting Water and Mother Earth. He shared that his mission is to break down barriers and reach out to young people to raise awareness about environmental and sustainable issues by encouraging and instilling a general sense of environmental stewardship. The Sheikh is also.the official Environmental Advisor to the Ajman Government.

During our visit, he shared with me a video, on his phone, of the Water Protectors at Standing Rock. This prayerful and peaceful action to Protect Water and Sacred Ceremonial Sites was one of our discussion points.

We will discuss Standing Rock and the Sheiks Global Blue Youth Movement (The Blue Sky and Water) further in the morning, when we co-host the Inaugural Ceremony to Light the Global Compassion Torch and the Global Giving Games. Last year this effort, ending December 10, UN Human Rights Day, raised $107 Million for charitable purposes. Joining us in the morning will be young people from around Mother Earth, both physically and virtually.

One of the comments made by Sheikh is in Spirit of what our Indigenous Elders have always taught us."It's not all about money, it's about ethics and values; 'people,' 'planet,' then 'profit.'"

Sheikh Abdul Aziz, in a white headscarf and dark robe, and Phil Lane Jr., in a black shirt, hold up a large poster for the Prairies TV series in a tiled room.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz and Phil Lane Jr. smile, clasping hands with arms around each other, before a green arched doorway and colorful Moroccan mosaic tiles.
