Making Relatives in Australia, Aotearoa, and beyond, at Fields of Healing, Byron Bay, Australia, November 23-26, 2018.
There is a direct connection, documented by Maouri bloodlines, across the Pacific to the Americas. In the old stories those relatives, that remained in the Americas, are called the "Older Brother" and those that sailed west the "Younger Brother."
Indigenous Peoples, by memory, are the greatest genealogists on Mother Earth. We know our ancestors far better than any anthropologists living or dead.
1n 1950, when I was six I loved to go to the movies with my father. That year my father and I watched Thor Heyerdahl's Kon Tiki Expedition. This incredible film went on to receive an Academy Award.
A story of the physical manifestation of a vision of a young man, Thor Heyerdahl. Thor believed that Indigenous peoples were the first to populate Polynesia as our Indigenous lineages clearly demonstrate.
Despite formidable challenges, on April 28, 1948, Thor Heyerdahl, and his small crew set sail for Polynesia, from Peru, in a Balsam Boat. In every way possible, the boat was original, as possible, including water containers of bamboo.
After 101 days, 6900 Km (4300 miles), the Kon Tiki arrived at the Polynesian Island of Raroia. Thor's Vision manifested from within his great European Academic Mind and Bueatiful Spirit, proved that the truth of our oral traditions is physically true. A truth no science may dispute.
I had the great honor and pleasure, to meet elder brother Thor, in Assisi Italy, in October 1986, at a historic Global Gathering, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the World Wide-Life Foundation (WWF). I made this journey with my dear late brother, Chief Leonard George. We were invited and honored guests of Prince Philip and the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).
During the 10 days, brother Leonard and I were in Italy, and the week before we spent on London, forged many spiritual relationships and helped to nourish and fuel the first global embers of this new Global Fire.
This included direct communications, with love and prayers to our Elder Brother, the Dalai Lama via his Khenchen, "Senior Khenpo-Abbott " This message was sent with an eagle feather from the same eagle, that later, eagle feathers were carried into space, and many times around our Mother Earth, by Japanese Astronauts Alison Onizuka and our Chickasaw relative, Commander John Harrington.
The eagle feather carried into space by Commander Onizuka is held in sacredness by the American Indian Science and Engineering (AISES). The feather carried by Commander Harrington is in the National Museum of the American Indian, in Washington, DC.
A third feather was carried by my father, mother, and myself to Osaka and Kyoto, Japan. After Sacred Prayers and Offerings, at the central Shinto Shrine, my father presented this third eagle feather to the Oomoto Foundation, where it is kept in sacredness until this day. There are four other feathers, from the same eagle I will share later with those who may be interested.
During our time in London, Brother Len and I enjoyed meeting relatives, of the, "lorded class" that sometimes seem to argue ceaselessly over critical issues, like "whether you put your milk into the cup, before or after, you add the tea."
Through our dear brother Huge Lock, who wonderfully guided us on our journey we were hosted by Baroness Edme de Pauli Baroness, including some wonderful gatherings and receptions for brother Len and myself. This week in London and its outcomes are a story unto itself.
It was through this journey in 1986, and other connections, that brother Len, forged good relationships with hereditary and other heartfelt relationships that endure until today.
What is unfolding is nothing less than the Spiritual Rising of our Indigenous Hearts and Minds, around Mother Earth, everywhere, all at once.
The Rebirth of the Union of the Condor and Eagle, 5:44 PM, PDT, June 20, 2020, includes all our Seaway relatives across the Pacific to Aotearoa. We are One and have arisen.
