Lummi Totem Pole Presented to Manitoba First Nations on Crazy Horse Anniversary

The Prophecy of the White Buffalo carved into the Lummi Nation Totem Pole along with other Sacred Symbols will be presented to the First Nations of Manitoba in Winnipeg on September 5, 2016. The purpose of this Spiritual Gift will be to support all First Nations involved to stop the Energy East Pipeline! This date also marks the anniversary of the assassination of Crazy Horse on September 5, 1877.

Crazy Horse was the last of the leaders of the Great Sioux Nation Leaders to surrender. He rode into Fort Robinson promised his surrender would honorably be accepted by the Fort Commander. Instead, he was led into the Guard House to be chained up. As his vision prophesied, a soldier drove a bayonet into his back while two of his Oglala relatives held his arms!
