Let Go and Let God: My Father's Cutting Horse Championship

My Beloved Father loves horses. He rode horses into his 80's. When Ate won the Northwest Cutting Horse Association Championships, he was well in his sixties. In his final competition for the Championship, he was matched against a young man at the hight of his physical strength.

I asked how he won against someone who was very clearly physically superior. He said," Son, I have learned through some tough experiences, whatever the challenge, let go and let God. That is how I won that final Championship match."
