Lessons from the EU and ASEAN for the Condor and Eagle

Reflecting on the challenges of forming the European Union, the EURO as a new currency and ASEAN's Vision for 2015 and how it applies to our Indigenous Peoples of the Americas and the Prophecy of the Reunion of the Condor and Eagle.

Before the 1914 there were hundreds of years of conflict and cruel violence between our European relatives prior to what is called World War One! A war that was not really world-wide, but really between "Christian Nations" who were fighting over who would control the colonized world! This war primarily between"Christian Nations" did, therefore, spill into their colonies.

With the unjust peace at the Treaty Of Versailles, the seeds of World War 11 were planted. In another 20 years the same Colonizing Christian Nations ,along with Militaristic Japan , were at it again. The technologies of war had advanced to a killing level never before witnessed on such a massive scale. Millions and millions were killed, more non-combatants than combatants.

Despite these Major Wars and other conflicts that occurred for so many blood and violence filled centuries. , those primary Christian warring nations, for their economic and social survival, made some very difficult decisions, despite the 1000's of years of ill feelings between them. Then some of the previously warring nations decided to cede some of their national sovereignty and form the European Union.

Then after even more intense discussions EU members decided to form a common currency. This was a big challenge especially between the wealthier EU Nations. The German Mark, the French Franc, the Dutch Gilder, the Italian Lire , etc! Not only were the large and powerful Nations, included, but the smaller and weaker, as well. The EU was officially formed in November, 1993.

The Euro was not introduced until January of 1999. It did not come into full use until Dec 31, 2002. With 28 member countries the EU is now the largest economy in the world, with the USA and China coming in at 2nd and 3rd place.

An even greater example of how other very diverse nations, with similar histories of conflict, are unifying for many of the same reasons as the EU, but tempered by their own very unique cultural perspectives! are the nations of ASEAN, Association of South East Asian Nations.

With more than 600 million human beings, including the largest Indigenous population in the world with more than 200 million Indigenous Peoples, ASEAN includes the world's largest Muslim country, Indonesia,100 million. the worlds largest Buddhist country, 70 million, the worlds largest Catholic Country, 100 million people, the Absolute Monarchy of Bhutan, the communist/socialist one-party Nations of Laos, 6.5 million and Vietnam with more than 90 million people.

Then you can add in the diversity of Myanmar/Burma, Singapore and Malaysia ASEAN"s Motto agreed to by all 10 members is One Vision, One Identity, One community. ASEAN's agreed upon working language is English.

While the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas suffered untold, unresolved intergenerational pain trauma due primarily to colonialism and it's accompanying diseases that killed up 90 percent of our Indigenous populations in the Americas and sometimes more, I believe the promised time for our emergence on the Global Stage is now manifesting!

If other members of the Human Family can set aside their differences enough to forge new relationships, we most certainly can do so, as well! In fact, we have the combined spiritual, cultural, social and economic potentialities to be global leaders in all areas of sustainable, harmonious development!

(STILL WORKING ON THESE THOUGHTS! IF YOU HAVE READ THIS FAR, WHAT DO YOU THINK, SO FAR?)
