Lee Brown Leads the Unity Drum at the 1980 North American Indigenous Council

Almost 37 years ago, July 19, 1980, Traditional Singer and Ceremonial Leader, Brother Lee Brown leads The Drumming and Singing with beloved Brothers Franklin, Ben, Chester Kahn, Tim Whitehawk and Sister Leona Santiago at the "Unity Drum Pow-Wow", during the North American Indigenous Council in Wilmette, Illinois.

Singers sit in a circle around a large drum on a grassy field, holding padded drumsticks, one man singing with a hand to his ear, as a seated crowd watches behind them.
