This picture was taken by Franco ,when we paused for a moment , leaving the six story Emporium Shopping Mall ,after our shopping for ICT Equipment was interrupted by a State of Emergency. The Emporium was emptied of several thousand people in 20 minutes. We later found out that the black smoke in the background was from fires engulfing Central World (a huge shopping mall), the Thai Stock Exchange and 25 other major buildings. A four day, dusk to dawn ,military curfew was immediately imposed in Bangkok and 23 Provinces across central and northern Thailand. Our hearfelt prayers and compassion for the dead and injured from families and communities on all sides of the conflict!
