Learning from Our Buddhist Relatives of the Kingdom of Thailand

We all have much to learn from our Buddhist relatives of the Kingdom of Thailand The English and French were never able to colonize this Buddhist Kingdom.

On the other hand the British colonized Myanmar (Burma), Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and parts of Borneo (North Borneo and Sarawak). The French colonized Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, which together formed French Indochina. The Dutch colonized Indonesia, and the Philippines was colonized first by the Spanish, followed by the USA.

Being a Buddhist monk was one of the spiritual highlights of my life. True brothers!
