PRESS CONFERENCE-SIGNING of GLOBAL INDIGENOUS TREATIES
Sept. 21, 2016, at 1 pm, UN Annex 310 E. 44th St, Manhattan
Indigenous Nations from North (Eagle), Central (Quetzal) and South America (Condor) come together to sign historic Treaties at the UEI TLATOKAN: Grand Council gathered in New York City for the 10+1 Sacred Circle of Grandmothers & Grandfathers Sages of the Planet from Sept. 21-25, 2016.
On September 22nd, Indigenous Nations will sign three Treaties in New York City with the goal of Indigenous-centered environmental protection:
1) A Unity Treaty between Indigenous Nations to create a Global Confederacy called “Free Nations United to Heal Our Mother Earth."
2) "The Indigenous Sovereignty Treaty between Indigenous Nations and other Nations of the world to recognize the Sovereignty of Indigenous Peoples, their land, and resources.
3) "The International Treaty to Protect & Restore Mother Earth. This International Treaty globally affirms the Rights of Mother Earth, the Inherent Sovereignty of Indigenous Nations and Peoples and the collective responsibility of all members of our Human Family to Protect and Restore Mother Earth through 16 Articles of unprecedented, unified, global action. This International Treaty is a fulfillment of the Prophecy of the Reunion of the Condor, Quetzal, and Eagle.
All of these ancient prophecies predict, after a long and bitter spiritual wintertime, that the “Reunion of the Condor (Indigenous Peoples of the South, the Quetzal Indigenous Peoples of Central America and the Eagle, (Indigenous Peoples of the North), will be realized. When the Reunion of the Condor and Eagle is manifested, a great era of peace, well-being and prosperity will follow for all members of the Human Family.
A highlight of the first two days of action is our keynote speaker, LaDonna Brave Bull Allard Tamakawastewin, the Standing Rock Sioux Nation leader, and historian, who will be meeting with the Sacred Circle of Indigenous Elders from Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Argentina, Mexico and Canada. Ms. Brave Bull will speak at 310 E. 44th St, Manhattan on Sept 21st and Sept 22 on the topics of water, sacred sites, land and indigenous rights.
The Conference described as the Indigenous Elders Of the Condor and Eagle Summit (also known as the UEI TLATOKAN: Grand Council of 10+1 Sacred Circle of Grandmothers & Grandfathers,Sages of the Mother Earth, is held against the backdrop of the long-prophesied “Reunion of the Condor, Quetzal, and Eagle," described previously. This Ancient Prophecy foretells the creation of alliances between the Indigenous Nations of North, Central and South America and their Allies of the Human Family.
This Conference is a continuation of the 2006 Indigenous Elders Conference held in Peru that ended with a commitment to further organizing and solidarity between Indigenous peoples. In NYC, the Summit will have events throughout the week of September 21-25 with a focus on Ceremonies, the sharing of Cultural Teachings and Medicine. The Conference organized by a network of indigenous activists based in NYC.
