May we never lose our trust in the Creator. May we keep our hearts lifted, even when the road is difficult, even when the way is not yet clear, even when the burdens of life feel heavy upon us.
Let us remember that the blessings of the Great Spirit, Wakan Tanka, the Maker of All Good Things, never stop flowing toward the human family. Sometimes, when we look from one side, those blessings may seem small or hidden. We may feel that help has become distant, or that the gifts of life have lessened.
But when we look with deeper eyes, with the eyes of the spirit, we begin to see that we are still surrounded. The blessings are still full. The mercy is still complete. The unseen help is still moving. The sacred waters of life are still flowing beneath and around us.
Under all conditions, we are immersed in a great sea of the Creator’s blessings. We live within them, breathe within them, walk within them, and are carried by them, even when we do not yet recognize their presence.
Therefore, let us not become hopeless under any circumstance. Let us not give our hearts over to despair. Let us stand firm in hope. Let us keep faith with the sacred promise that help will come, strength will rise, and the Creator’s mercy will never abandon us.
May our hope be steady. May our trust be strong. May our hearts remember that we are always held within the blessings of the Great Mystery.
